School Starting!

School starts in two days!! Honestly, I feel more ready this year than I have ever been. That could be my famous last words, once the kids arrive, but I'm optimistic! I've been in this business long enough to know that some things will always go wrong and some things will go right and I just need to expect it and roll with it. I have moved into the building this year, after four years in the portable. It is nice to have a big room again! This was my fifth move at this school. I seem to bounce around all over the place. I am not right next door to my co-teachers. My next door neighbor is a second grade teacher and I have apologized in advance for being loud :).

One of our kindergarten teachers is taking an unplanned medical leave. This threw me and the other K teacher for a loop, but we found out that the teacher's daughter-in-law will be taking her class, which is WONDERFUL, as she is familiar with the school and our routines.

Mark is going to give me my back-to-school haircut tonight. It's nice that he can cut my hair and we can save some money. Especially since he bought my back-to-school present today: four tires, an oil change, and an air conditioner recharge.

I am starting back to work tomorrow after being home with my 3 children for 6 years! I have enjoyed being a stay at home mother, but have missed being in the KG class too! Even though I have 10 years experience- I am terrified! Any words of wisdom?!?
